As a **Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver Unarmed** in **Manhattan Beach, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, where you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at retail or mall locations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unwanted activity.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with controlling access to restricted areas within the location as required.

+ Support emergency response activities when appropriate and directed by site management or Allied Universal leadership.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
