Job Title: QC Lab Technician
Job Description
The QC Lab Technician will perform various quality control laboratory tests on incoming raw materials, primarily utilizing FTIR and wet chemistry techniques as per United States Pharmacopeia (USP) test methods. The role involves entering test sample results into the ERP or Quality system and releasing products from Quality Hold. The technician will also provide general laboratory support functions, including cleaning glassware, collecting samples from other departments, and maintaining lab cleanliness. Collaboration with various departments is essential to ensure a steady workflow, along with other responsibilities as assigned.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct QC laboratory tests using FTIR and wet chemistry techniques.
+ Enter test results into ERP or Quality system and manage product release.
+ Support laboratory functions such as glassware cleaning and sample collection.
+ Collaborate with different departments to ensure efficient workflow.
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization within the laboratory.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's or Associate's degree in chemistry or a related field.
+ Proficiency in chemistry and laboratory techniques.
+ Experience with sample preparation and analysis using FTIR, pH meter, and sensory tests.
+ Knowledge of quality control and quality assurance practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 1-2 years of industry experience in Pharma, Cosmetics, Medical Device, or Food sectors.
+ Experience with FTIR, ICP, and IR techniques.
+ Willingness to show initiative and work cross-functionally, verified by references.
+ Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
Work Environment
The position primarily involves working in a lab/office setting with occasional plant sampling in the manufacturing space. The team is tight-knit, and outgoing personalities may fit better. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
