    Job Title: Cell Therapy Aseptic Operator

    Job Description

    As a Cell Therapy Aseptic Operator, you will play a crucial role in the clean room qualification process, assisting with burden cleaning and running supplies and materials necessary for clean room operations. Your responsibilities will include aseptic gowning to enter clean rooms, processing cells and samples within manufacturing, and utilizing aseptic techniques to manipulate cell products. You will work within a cellular facility, adhering to GMP practices and SOPs.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in clean room qualification by performing burden cleaning and running supplies.

    + Aseptic gowning to enter clean rooms for qualification purposes.

    + Process cells and samples within the manufacturing area.

    + Conduct cell product manipulations using aseptic techniques.

    + Follow GMP practices and SOPs in the cellular facility.

    + Perform processing and testing required to produce safe and efficacious products.

    + Support clinical trials through stem cell preparation and cell/tissue culture.

    + Manage batch records, cell expansions, volume reductions, depletions, and enrichments.

    Essential Skills

    + Aseptic operation and pharmaceutical laboratory skills.

    + Experience in cell therapy and working within a biology lab.

    + Familiarity with fast-paced environments and previous lab gowning experience.

    + Knowledge of GMP, biology, cell culture, and aseptic techniques.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor's degree in Sciences preferred.

    + Associates or Bachelor's degree in biology or related scientific field is a plus.

    + Previous experience in cell-based biology labs, either academic or industry.

    + Ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.

     

    Work Environment

     

    + The role is based in clinical manufacturing labs, requiring flexibility with shift schedules. Initial training will take place Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm.

    + Once permanent, the shift will be Thursday-Friday and Sunday-Monday (four ten-hour shifts).

    + Candidates must be open to working weekends and able to work 1st or 2nd shifts, with potential changes in shift timing.

    + The work involves being part of a large team of operators, receiving extensive training in aseptic gowning for clean rooms.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allendale, NJ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $29.78/hr.
