OVERVIEW

The Sanitor is responsible for executing tasks related to sanitation, facility upkeep, training, and operations support.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment in areas such as offices, hallways, lobbies, rest rooms, corridors, stair ways, locker rooms, warehouses, etc.

+ Replenishes supplies for PPE, bathrooms, hand wash stations, and office as needed

+ Operates floor scrubber to clean plant floor, aisles, and warehouse

+ Manages disposal of facility trash and recycling program

+ Assists Quality department with holds and product inspections, as well as clerical tasks such as reviewing training documentation

+ Maintains facility grounds by assisting with building upkeep (indoor & outdoor), inspections, and corrective actions

+ Assists with sugar dust and cobweb removal

+ Work effectively and ensure that food safety, authenticity, legality, and quality are maintained.

+ Report any risks or any evidence of unsafe or out-of-specification product, equipment, packaging or raw materials, to a designated manager to enable the resolution of issues requiring immediate action.

+ All other duties as assigned

WORK EXPERIENCES

+ 1-3 years experience in manufacturing or similar industry preferred

+ Prior experience working in a janitorial role preferred

+ Prior experience operating a floor scrubber preferred

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

+ High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required

+ Must possess great attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced industrial environment

+ Must be able to understand verbal and written English

+ Demonstrated ability to follow direction and execute tasks successfully

+ The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. In addition, this position occasionally requires an employee to work outside in intense weather conditions (i.e. cold temperatures, snow, hot temperatures, etc.)

Hiring 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts:

+ Starting rate at 18.00/hour

+ 2nd Shift differential: $1.00/hour

+ 3rd Shift differential: $1.50/hour
