Role Overview:
The selected Manager, Accounting (“GA Manager”) is responsible for establishing and overseeing comprehensive accounting, tax, and the treasury operations to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and efficiency. This role is pivotal in building and strengthening the company’s financial management infrastructure by developing and implementing foundational processes, internal controls, and policies. In addition to managing the team, you will:
+ Take the lead in day-to-day accounting operations by directly performing and reviewing accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, leases, general ledger activities, and ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
+ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, reports, and analyses for management and other stakeholders, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
+ Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
+ Develop, implement, and enforce accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
+ Lead the design, documentation, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of internal controls to safeguard assets, to produce accurate financial reporting and ensure compliance with Korean SOX (K-SOX) and other regulatory frameworks.
+ Ensure timely and accurate filing of all federal and state income tax returns, adhering to applicable laws and regulations including managing compliance with indirect taxes including sales/use tax and property tax across multiple states, working with external advisors as needed.
Basic Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited educational institution.
+ 10+ years of industry accounting experience
+ 5+ years of formal supervisory/management experience leading process improvements and managing audits.
+ Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, and/or Taxation
+ Previous SAP experience
+ Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
+ Bilingual English/Korean

Salary Range: $103,170 - $158,873
