Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Clovis, California. This role requires someone with strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of accounts payable processes, including invoice handling and payment management. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for maintaining accuracy in financial tasks, this position may be a great fit for you.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and code invoices while ensuring compliance with company procedures.

• Conduct regular check runs and handle wire payment transactions efficiently.

• Maintain organized filing systems to ensure easy access to financial records.

• Utilize Excel for data entry tasks related to accounts payable.

• Communicate effectively with vendors and colleagues to address inquiries and resolve issues.

• Monitor and manage Outlook communications related to accounts payable activities.

• Verify invoice details to ensure accuracy and completeness before processing.

• Collaborate with team members to support overall financial operations.

• Ensure timely completion of accounts payable tasks to meet deadlines.

• Assist in other administrative duties related to financial operations as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.

• Proficiency in coding invoices and managing check runs.

• Familiarity with wire payment processes and invoice handling.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.

• Basic knowledge of Excel for data entry tasks.

• Experience using Outlook for clear and effective communications.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
