    The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing patient evaluations, as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual patient and physician’s orders when applicable.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice

    + Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy

    + One (1) year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

     

    Job Title: Inpatient Acute Physical Therapist – Travel Contract

     

    Start Date: 02/02

     

    Shift: 8-Hour Day Shift

     

    Hours: 40 per week

    Position Overview:

    Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Inpatient Acute Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment at a leading facility in Visalia, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while enjoying competitive pay and benefits.

    Requirements:

    + Experience: Minimum 1 year recent inpatient acute experience within the last 3 years

    + Travel Experience: Preferred

    + Distance: Must reside 50+ miles from the facility

    + License/Certifications:

    + Active California Physical Therapist License

    + BLS Certification

    + Department Specific:

    + If assigned to Infant, Pediatric, or Adolescent Units: 1 year of experience in these populations encouraged

    Compensation:

    + Weekly Pay: $3,477

    + $2,000 taxable income

    + $1,477 stipends
