Job Title: Special Education Teacher
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 2025–2026 School Year
Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday (School Hours)
Position Overview:
The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, provides quality educational services to students in grades K–12. This role involves planning and implementing individualized programs, delivering specialized instruction, and collaborating with general education staff to support student success.
Essential Details:
+ Classroom: Foundations LD, Multi-Categorical (self-contained)
+ Students: 12 with 3 Teaching Assistants
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
+ Valid Special Education Teaching License (reciprocity accepted; proof required)
+ State Teacher Certification (Elementary, Secondary, Special Education preferred)
+ Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
+ CPR certification (if applicable)
