    We are seeking an *Outpatient Clinical Nurse *to support the *Interventional Radiology (IR) Department at West Houston*. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care, coordinate patient services across the continuum of care, and support an inter-professional team known for excellence, compassion, and innovation.

     

    You will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced procedural environment.

     

    *The idea candidate will have a BSN and one year of experience in a procedural environment. Must be able to work Monday - Friday / 0730 - 1600 / no call no weekends.*

     

    The Interventional Radiology team at West Houston provides minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that support cancer diagnosis, treatment, symptom management, and overall quality of life. Features of this location include:

     

    • A modern outpatient procedural suite designed for patient comfort and efficiency

    • Services such as biopsies, vascular access device placement, drain management, pain relief procedures, and other oncologic interventions

    • Collaboration with radiologists, advanced practice providers, oncology teams, and diagnostic imaging

    *EDUCATION*

    * Required: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.

    * Preferred: Bachelor's Degree Nursing.

    * Required: RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license. Upon Hire and

    * Required: BLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire or

    * Required: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Upon Hire and

    * Required: ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support If working in the following department: ASC Post Anesthesia (600761). Upon Hire or

    * Required: PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support If working in the following departments: ASC Post Anesthesia (600761) or Pedi - Child & Adolescent Center (113200). Upon Hire

    * Preferred: OCN - Oncology Nurse Certification Certification in specialty practice area. Upon Hire

    *OTHER REQUIREMENTS: *All clinical nurses with less than one year of registered nurse (RN) work experience will be required to participate in the Clinical Nurse Residency Program.
