Required Education/Experience
+ Bachelor's Degree and 2 years field construction experience or
+ Associate's Degree and 4 years field construction experience or
+ High School Diploma/GED and 5 years field construction experience.
Preferred Education/Experience
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Architecture and 4 years field construction experience
Relevant Work Experience
+ Fundamental background in construction management and be knowledgeable in electrical, mechanical, civil, chemical, construction or operations, Required
+ Knowledge of the facilities, remediation, electric, gas and/or steam system, Preferred
+ Proficiency and knowledge of Oracle, ProjectWise, Auto-CAD, Micro-station, Microsoft Projects, Primavera, MAXIMO, and/or Oracle Work Management System, Preferred
+ Knowledge of Building Code and permit requirements, Preferred
+ Knowledge of safety and environmental procedures related to working in generating stations, substations, commercial facilities or public streets, Preferred
+ Knowledge of contract administration procedures, inspection and cost control, Preferred
+ Ability to interface with external agencies and customers, Preferred
Skills and Abilities
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.
+ Effective interpersonal skills
+ Demonstrated written communication skills
+ Develops and delivers effective presentations
Licenses and Certifications
+ Driver's License Required
Physical Demands
+ Ability to work in inclement weather and adverse conditions (i.e., excessive heat, cold, noise, confined spaces)
+ Stand, walk, lift, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, and/or reach for the duration of the workday
+ Use personal vehicle(s), and be able to transport, store, and secure company laptops and other job-related equipment in vehicle. Acknowledge that reimbursement for use of personal vehicle is available through the company mileage procedure
Additional Physical Demands
+ The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
