Customer Insights and Marketing Manager
This position will lead an integrated function consisting of the Research and Marketing teams. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop data-driven insights that inform strategy across the Bank and shape cohesive marketing campaigns for both consumer and commercial prospects and customers.
In this position, you will:
Marketing
+ Oversee the Marketing function, a team of approximately 10 marketing professionals, ensuring that campaign strategies aligns with business objectives and product roadmaps.
+ Ensure Marketing is supporting the achievement of Bank- and business-level goals, including those related to deposit gathering, customer acquisition and retention, deepening of relationships with customers, etc.
+ Provide direction and oversight to the function, acting when needed as a liaison between Marketing and various business units across the Bank and representing Marketing at the senior leadership level.
+ Ensure that Marketing campaigns are executed in a timely manner and in compliance with all applicable regulations, budgets, and corporate policies.
+ Other responsibilities as required.
Research Programs
+ Lead analysts and research professionals in management of research programs, including: NPS research across all lines of business; brand tracking; marketing and competitive research; product research; and hoc research as needed.
+ Act as a key liaison with senior stakeholders across the Bank, ensuring insights from research as well as complaints program are synthesized and proactively shared across all lines of business to inform and guide business strategy.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or higher
+ A minimum of 10 years in a leadership role within Research or Marketing in a financial services organization, preferably banking

+ Strategic insight development:Experience creating insights and business reporting that drive meaningful improvements in strategy and outcomes.
+ Technical proficiency:Expertise with data visualization and BI tools, particularly Tableau and Power BI.
+ CRM expertise:Significant experience defining business requirements for Salesforce or other CRM platform development.
+ Marketing acumen:Experience leading marketing campaigns or shaping marketing strategy is highly desirable.
Base Salary & Benefits
Our base salary for this position located inNew Yorkgenerally ranges between $210,000.00and$253,000.00 annually, depending on business need and on your qualifications and experience. Base salary does not include incentive compensation, commission, or any other type of remuneration or benefits.
In addition to salary, Popular's well-rounded benefits package for regular full-time and part-time employees includes a comprehensive health plan, flexible time off options, and savings and investment plans. Seasonal/temporary employees are not eligible for these benefits.
