Temporary Security Officer – Special Detail (Healthcare Facility)

**Location:** Washington Heights, Manhattan, NY

**Pay Rate:** $25.00/hour

**Schedule:** Temporary Assignment – Morning, Evening & Overnight Shifts Available

Position Overview

We are seeking **experienced, professional Security Officers** for a **temporary special security detail** at a healthcare facility in Manhattan. Officers will be assigned to support site security operations during an upcoming labor strike. This role requires a strong presence, professionalism, and the ability to remain alert for extended periods.

This assignment also presents **potential opportunities for permanent placement** for top-performing officers.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain a professional and visible security presence at all times

+ Monitor access points and surrounding areas to ensure safety and order

+ Observe, report, and document any unusual or suspicious activity

+ Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and the public

+ Follow all post orders, site protocols, and company procedures

Requirements

+ Minimum **1 year of prior security experience** required

+ Ability to **stand and remain on post for the duration of assigned shifts**

+ Professional appearance, strong communication skills, and reliable attendance

+ Ability to remain calm and composed in a high-visibility environment

+ Valid NYS Security Guard License (must be current and in good standing)
