Description:
Come join the Patient Food Services team at Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England! We are a member of the nationwide Trinity Health family, bringing compassionate care to our communities.
Position Purpose:
Reports to the Food Service Supervisor or Manager with primary responsibility for the transport, delivery and retrieval of completed food trays to patients.
What you will do:
+ Delivers meal trays to patient rooms and retrieves trays after meals.
Environmental and Working Conditions:
+ Moderate amount of stooping, bending, pushing and pulling in the transport, delivery and retrieval of patient food trays to from patient floors. Extended periods of standing or walking are required.
+ Must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment such as gloves, hair nets/masks, slip resistant shoes, eye protection, etc.
+ Must possess the ability to comply with Trinity Health policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
+ Prior food service industry experience preferred.
+ Ability to read, write, and speak English and to understand written and oral instructions is required.
