RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Responsible for the preparation of food items. We have a diverse menu that requires speed and accurate preparation, and you should feel proud of each item you prepare.
+ Our Kitchen is well designed with large working areas. We have Line Cook positions in Salad, Fry, Sauté, Grill and Make Up, along with Kitchen Prep Cooks.
+ Responsible for maintaining equipment and the cleanliness of your surroundings in the kitchen.
+ Working as a team to achieve standards in preparation and delivery of food items.
+ Prepares food with proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe standards.
+ Restocks kitchen and cook line as needed.
+ Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards.
+ Demonstrates teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise. Teamwork is essential and expected of all Outbackers.
REQUIREMENTS:
+ Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs.
+ Able to work in hot and cold environments.
+ Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift.
+ Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping.
+ Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems.
+ Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
+ Visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth and peripheral. Also, the ability to adjust focus as needed. The role involves working in areas with low or dim lighting.
+ Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
