Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Comptroller Department (N8), Budget (N81), Transportation Working Capital Fund (TWCF) Budget Formulation and Execution(N811) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND. Responsibilities You will serve as the senior liaison for budget, execution or financial management policy and procedures within the organization specific to the USTRANSCOM TWCF portfolio. You will direct and/or perform continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization. You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas. You will coordinate the development and reporting of cost and performance information in support of mission tasks for the organization. You will conduct management evaluation of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, etc., and recommend alternatives for corrective action. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience directing and/or performing continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of major operating and support programs within the organization. Experience preparing briefs for senior managers on program execution and providing recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas. Experience providing interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution. Experience developing formats and content to provide managers with various listings, reports, and data related to status of funds and the propriety of obligations; and ensuring the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy and validity of supporting managerial accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports. Experience coordinating the development and reporting of cost and performance information in support of mission tasks for the organization.
