As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, checking credentials, and assisting visitors and staff.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location.

    + Screen individuals entering the location to help identify and address potential risks or prohibited items, following established protocols.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.

    + Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises to help maintain a secure environment.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any unusual circumstances.

    + Maintain detailed records of observations, incidents, and activities, submitting reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.

    + Collaborate with healthcare staff and emergency personnel to support the overall security-related needs of the location.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

    + Have access control or badge experience is preferred.

    + Be able to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
