We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Human Resources Associate to join our team. As the HR Associate, you will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day operations of HR at our campus. This position is in-person located on-site at our Maplewood senior living campus.

Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position

Wage Range: $26 - $32 / hour depending on experience

Human Resources Associate Responsibilities:

+ Be the lead on interviewing candidates and sending out job offers.

+ Responsible for the onboarding processes for new hires including background checks, references, license verifications and communication with new hires.

+ Responsible for scheduling and assisting with new hire orientation.

+ Answers employee questions regarding HR, benefits, payroll and leave of absence.

+ Process new hire and termination paperwork.

+ Coordinate benefits and process enrollments, changes, and terminations for all benefit plans in a timely and accurate fashion.

+ Work with staff and managers to administer HR policies (i.e. leave of absence, workers compensation, OSHA, pay policies) and employee retention.

+ Manage unemployment claims.

+ Records, maintain, and update employee information in payroll/HRIS system and employee files.

+ Responsible for the day-to-day payroll related items and processes bi-weekly payroll.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Human Resources Associate Qualifications:

+ 3+ years of HR, benefits and payroll experience preferred.

+ Must have knowledge of HR laws and processes.

+ Experience working with HRIS systems, UKG Dimensions experience preferred.

+ Excellent attention to detail, numerical abilities and computer skills.

+ Positive communication and customer service skills.

+ Ability to take initiative, be proactive, and demonstrate flexibility.

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

+ Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.
