Description

We are currently seeking experienced Senior Accountants for ongoing project opportunities in the Chattanooga area across a variety of industries, for the new year and quarter 1. These roles involve working on dynamic accounting projects—including financial reporting, process improvement, audit support, compliance, and budgeting—leveraging various leading accounting software packages.

Candidates should have demonstrated experience in senior accounting functions and strong proficiency in at least one major accounting software (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar platforms). Adaptability and the ability to work within fast-paced, changing environments are essential. Previous project-based or consulting experience is preferred.

Typical responsibilities may include:

+ Managing month-end and year-end close processes

+ Preparing and analyzing financial statements

+ Leading system implementations or upgrades

+ Supporting audit and compliance projects

+ Enhancing internal controls and process documentation

Requirements

+ Bachelors Degree in Finance and/or Accounting preferred

+ 3+ years hands-on accounting experience

+ Multi-entity accounting experience helpful

+ Strong technical proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and accounting software packages

+ Experience with large account reconciliations

+ Balance sheet and P& L experience needed

+ Fixed asset and schedule experience helpful

+ Cost accounting experience a HUGE plus!
