Job Title: Cashier - Food Service Worker** **Job Description
The role involves working primarily within a food service operation at a school, handling both cash and credit transactions. In addition to cashiering, the employee will assist with food setup and serving from counters and steam tables. Responsibilities also include cleaning and sanitizing equipment and workstations. The position requires accurately operating a cash register/POS system and completing transactions.
Responsibilities
+ Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently and accurately.
+ Assist in the setup and serving of food from counters and steam tables.
+ Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations to maintain hygiene standards.
+ Provide support to the retail operation, including maintaining supplies and products.
+ Assist in cleanup and closing down of the food service area.
+ Serve food to clients as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in food service and cashiering.
+ Proficient in using POS systems.
+ Strong customer service orientation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in food preparation.
+ Retail sales and hospitality skills.
+ Ability to help in the kitchen and assist in stocking.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
