About the Role

As a **Mechanical Assembler** , you’ll be an essential part of our production team, assembling and testing driveshafts with precision, care, and pride. What You’ll Do

+ Operate mechanical equipment including cut‑off saws, welders, hydraulic presses, and balancers

+ Assemble driveshafts using hand tools, ensuring accuracy and proper fit

+ Use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers to maintain quality standards

+ Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and verbal instructions

+ Test, troubleshoot, and verify product quality

+ Use computers, tablets, and scanners to track production

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

+ Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

+ Contribute ideas to improve processes and support team goals

What You Bring

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production, packaging, or inspection

+ Comfortable using hand and power tools

+ Ability to operate mechanical and pneumatic equipment

+ Familiarity with assembly line or mechanical assembly processes

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders

Preferred Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Basic mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge

+ Basic computer and scanning skills

+ Strong communication, organization, and math abilities

+ Ability to lift, stack, and move up to 50 lbs regularly

Work Environment & Schedule

+ Non‑climate‑controlled production environment

+ **Four‑day workweek** : Monday–Thursday, **6:00 AM to 4:30 PM**

+ Enjoy long weekends every week

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
