Job Title: Assembler - 3rd Shift

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembler on the third shift, working Monday through Friday from 9 PM to 5 AM, with mandatory overtime on weekends. You will collaborate in teams of 4-5 to assemble and inspect sunglasses from start to finish. Responsibilities include assembly, inspection, packaging, using the pad print machine, and labeling boxes. This position requires flexibility as specific duties and departments may change.

Responsibilities

+ Screw, glue, and fasten individual pieces of sunglasses together.

+ Prepare assembled parts for lens installation and quality auditing.

+ Install lenses into frames and glue icons onto frames.

+ Use small tools to insert screws or pins to hold frames together.

+ Mix paint for the pad printer and address malfunctions.

+ Sand and buff the gate/burr off the center frame.

+ Send completed products to Quality Auditor for final inspection.

+ Set up workstations at the start of each shift.

+ Engage in job rotation to limit repetitive movements.

+ Stand or walk throughout the entire shift; comfortable shoes are recommended.

+ Utilize small hand tools and/or power tools as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

+ Willingness to stand for 8-10+ hours a day.

+ Good attendance is critical; a three-strike policy is in place.

+ No prior experience required but is helpful.

Work Environment

This is a manufacturing environment that is fast-paced and requires standing throughout the shift. The work involves highly repetitive short-cycle assembly, and a casual dress code is in place, with close-toed shoes required. Protective eyewear must be worn at all times and is provided, while protective ear-plugs may be required in certain departments. Safety is a priority, with regular stretches scheduled before and after lunch and a one-hour safety training required before starting the position.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Foothill Ranch, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.97 - $19.97/hr.
