Job Title: CNC Machinist

**Hours:** 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 7am-4:30pm, Friday 7am-11am, with overtime available Monday-Friday 6am-4:30pm.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist experienced in operating and setting up CNC Mills, Lathes, and Grinders. The role involves using work instructions, drawings, procedures, tooling, fixtures, and programs to manufacture first-run parts for in-process inspection approval. After approval, the machinist will run remaining parts using specified methods of inspection, recommending any tool offsets or program edits needed. Proficiency in taking measurements with calipers and micrometers is essential.

Responsibilities

+ Operate and set up CNC Mills, Lathes, and Grinders using work instructions, drawings, procedures, tooling, fixtures, and programs.

+ Manufacture first-run parts for in-process inspection approval.

+ Run remaining parts utilizing specified tooling, programs, fixtures, procedures, and methods of inspection.

+ Recommend tool offsets or program edits as needed.

+ Take precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, etc.

Essential Skills

+ 2-3+ years of experience operating and setting up CNC Mill and CNC Lathe machines.

+ Ability to set up and program, make program edits, and change offsets.

+ Proficiency with measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

+ Understanding of mechanical drawings and cutting tools.

+ Robust experience in 3-axis milling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED required.

+ Technical School or Associate's degree preferred.

+ Experience with CNC Programming and Editing is a plus.

+ Knowledge of G&M Codes is a plus.

+ Ability to work in a deadline-driven team environment.
