/This position will act as a*recovery nurse*to provide patient care to post procedural patients from Radiology and Heart and Vascular Service Line. In the event that there are no recovery needs, this position will help other patient care needs in the procedural departments with such as patient prep, cardiac monitoring, and transport///

*This position is a 0.7 FTE (7 shifts/ pay period), 8-hour shifts, DAYS (start times variable) plus_on call requirement per unit policy._*

*_RESPONSIBILITIES:_*

Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:

* Protecting, promoting, and optimizing health

* Preventing illness and injury

* Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response

* Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others

* Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care

*_QUALIFICATIONS:_*

/*Minimum Qualifications:*/

* 1 year of recent_PACU and/or adult ICU_professional nursing (RN) experience

* BLS & ACLS certification

* Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

* Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota

* 1 year of_Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology post procedure recovery_professional nursing (RN) experience****

* BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
