    BASIC FUNCTION: To implement IEP goals and objectives for each student.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES: Assessment, curriculum development, instruction and evaluation of students with handicapping conditions.

    Job Qualifications

    + NYS certificate as a Teacher of the Deaf.

    + Knowledge of total communication techniques and fluent sign language skills preferred.

     

    The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.
