What You'll Do:

+ Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.

+ Monitor for suspicious behavior or activity and promptly report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or identification as needed.

+ Document incidents, observations, and daily activities thoroughly and accurately as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.

+ Work collaboratively with retail staff and other Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors.

+ Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergency situations, including providing assistance during evacuations or other urgent scenarios.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years of armed security-related experience.

+ Possess an armed guard card or armed guard license.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess a Level III armed certification for positions in Texas only.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
