Our client, a manufacturing company in the Cookeville, TN area, is hiring a full-time Accountant.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Prepare and analyze financial reports; support month-end and year-end close
+ Manage core accounting functions: AP/AR, general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, cash flow, and filings
+ Maintain accurate financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
+ Monitor costs and investigate variances related to labor, materials, and overhead
+ Support budgeting and forecasting in partnership with leadership
+ Ensure accuracy of inventory and cost accounting
+ Coordinate and support audits; ensure compliance with financial and legal requirements
+ Partner with department leaders to provide financial insights for decision-making
+ Support accounting operations across multiple locations as needed
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
+ 5+ years of accounting experience
+ Ability to work on-site 5 days a week
+ Must be authorized to work in the U.S., as this client is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
The Position Offers:
+ Annual salary in the $60k-80k range (depending on experience)
