    Receiving/Supply Specialist

    Responsibilities

    + Ensure safety: Follow all safety protocols and procedures

    + Receive and unload: Must be forklift certified

    + Inspect: Check for damaged goods and verify the quantity and quality of the order and report discrepancies to Procurement Manager and corresponding department.

    + Record: Maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments

    + Process paperwork: Maintain records of orders, delivery details, and shipping and receiving activities

    + Ship: Arrange for the transportation of products and calculate shipping costs

    + Deliver: Deliver items to and from storage areas

    + Organize: Organize inventory records for easy retrieval

    + Communicate with vendors: Follow up on orders, and communicate delays or problems

    + Coordinate: Coordinate shipping activities with external parties

    Skills

    + Good verbal and written communication skills

    + Basic computer skills

    + Basic math skills

    + Ability to bend and lift 50 pounds or more

    + Familiarity with proper packaging methods

    Working conditions

    + May be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, hot, cold, wet and humid conditions

    + May involve crouching, climbing, lifting, and moving heavy items

    Requirements

    HS Diploma or equivalent

     

    1-2 years of experience
