    Night Donut Finishing Production Associate

     

    _Reports to: Night Supervisor and Central Bakery Manager_

     

    _Job Profile: Clerk 2, Production-Central Bakery_

     

    _Business Title: Bakery Production-Central Bakery_

    Position Summary:

    This position is responsible for the production of donuts including frying, catching, filling, icing and distribution of donuts. Quality control. Follow safe, sanitary food handling policy to prevent contamination and food borne illnesses. Frying donuts: Must be able to withstand hot temperatures, bending, and hold sticks to flip donuts. Ability to lift 50lbs buckets of glaze, boxes of donut grease to fill tanks. Catching/Filling donuts: Catch and fill donuts as they come down conveyor line. Ability to lift 50lb buckets of fillings and fill hoppers as needed. Icing/Finishing: Properly ice donut varieties according to production sheets. Pass-out: Read and understand computer pass-out sheets, Special Orders and properly distribute product for delivery.

    Starting Pay:

    $18.00

    Schedule:

    Start time: 6pm – 2:30am

     

    Flexible schedule with holiday and weekends required

    Education:

    High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

    Experience:

    No experience required.

    Responsibilities:

    • Works under close supervision

    • Repetitive work that is clearly defined, manual jobs

    • Impacts own work

    Qualifications:

    Ability to work with deadlines and follow directions. Since this is a production line it is easy to fall behind and difficult to catch up. Basic math and reading skills. Able to work independently and with others. Requires constant bending, stretching and good eye/hand coordination.

    Physical Requirements:

    May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.

    Other Duties:

    Extensive cleaning of work areas, wash all equipment, and take out trash. Varies according to production needs, occasionally may be required to work in other areas of production.

    Environmental Conditions:

    Exposed to constant indoor temperatures of 75 degrees or higher.

     

    Noises: loud machines. Chemicals: cleaning solutions.
