    The Physician Assistant or Physician Associate provides health care services to patients within scope of license, performs physical examinations and diagnostic tests, assessments and screenings, prescribes medications, and instructs patients and family members on medical conditions and treatment. Additionally, the Physician Assistant or Physician Associate may have an area of specialty practice.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Current Physician Assistant or Associate Certification and license in the state of New Jersey

    + Current and unrestricted DEA in New Jersey required

    + Certification as a Physician Assistant or Associate by a nationally accredited nursing organization (e.g. NCCPA) is required

    + Minimum 1 year of experience as an PA-C highly preferred; must be in primary care setting

    + Maintain collaboration agreements, per state requirements

    + Current BLS required

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Annual flu vaccine required

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
