    Our client, a leading organization in the insurance and risk management industry, is seeking a Account Specialist to join their team. As a Account Specialist, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting client service and account management functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Commercial Insurance Account Specialist

    **Location:** Bannockburn, Illinois

    **Pay Range:** $26-$36/hr

    **Duration:** 12 months

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Assist Account Executives and Brokers with managing assigned accounts and key processes related to commercial risk business.

    + Retrieve and verify compliance documentation for renewals, invoices, surplus lines filing, and other deliverables.

    + Support activities such as initiating renewals, processing invoices, issuing auto IDs, and resolving premium account discrepancies.

    + Mentor and assist junior staff with complex account functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

    + Coordinate with outsourced partners and internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality outputs.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + 3-5 years of commercial insurance experience.

    + Understanding of operational processes and methodologies within the insurance industry.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, with experience in data import/export and VLOOKUP functions would be a plus.

    + Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, output-driven environment with multitasking capabilities.

    + Ability to maintain or obtain an insurance broker's license within six months of hire.
