    Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management industry, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the maintenance support team, ensuring the safety, security, and proper functioning of the facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Facilities Technician

    **Location:** Arlington Heights, IL

    **Pay Range:** $28

    **Shift:** Days 7:00 am - 4:00 pm M-F

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Monitor the facility to ensure safety, security, and maintenance standards are upheld

    + Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance issues

    + Perform preventative maintenance, carpentry, and vendor management tasks

    + Replace lighting bulbs and ballasts as needed to maintain proper illumination

    + Assist with moving office furniture, machinery, and equipment as required

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High school diploma or GED required

    + 2-4 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance

    + Ability to lift at least 50 lbs

    + Basic knowledge of machines, tools, and maintenance procedures

    + Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
