+ $32.33/hr (0–9 years)
+ $40.41/hr (10–19 years)
+ $48.50/hr (20+ years)
Shift Differentials:
+ Night: $ 3.00/hr
+ Weekend – Days: $ 3.00/hr
+ Weekend – Nights: $ 7.00/hr
**Bonus:** $15,000 Sign-On with 2-Year Commitment
**Relocation Assistance:** Up to $1,500
**Shift Options:** Full-Time | Nights, Days, Evenings, Mixed (Rotating Weekends)
**Specialty:** RN – Staff
Qualifications:
+ Diploma or Associate Degree from an accredited nursing program (required)
+ BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program preferred
+ Current RN licensure in Virginia or compact RN license eligible to practice in VA
+ American Heart Association BLS Health Care Provider certification (required)
+ 1 year of RN ER experience in an acute care setting considered
+ Med/Surg candidates considered for cross-training on nights shift only
Position Summary:
LewisGale Medical Center, a leading 500+ bed acute care hospital in Salem, VA, provides comprehensive healthcare services including heart and vascular care, orthopedics and spine care, mental and behavioral health, and cancer care. Our Emergency Department team seeks a skilled RN to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages, from minor injuries to critically ill patients
+ Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing care based on patient acuity
+ Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate follow-up care and referrals
+ Document patient care accurately, concisely, and in compliance with organizational policies
+ Work professionally and calmly under pressure, ensuring patient safety at all times
+ Coordinate care functions with physicians and other hospital departments

**Pay Details:** $32.00 to $48.50 per hour
