    Job Summary and Responsibilities

     

    The incumbent demonstrates competency in patient care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. May be required to direct the work of a Physical Therapy Assistant.

     

    + Meets the discipline-specific productivity standard.

    + Demonstrates competency in the care of patients during field observation by the clinical supervisor.

    + Completes and submits documentation following established guidelines as measured by a designated evaluation tool.

    + Physician orders are present and written correctly.

    + Documents follow up of identified problems.

    + Reviews and documents clinical progress toward goals.

    + Demonstrates coordination of care by appropriate communication with other disciplines and team members, and documents that communication as measured by a designated evaluation tool.

    + Meets agency/regulatory requirements as measured by a designated evaluation tool.

    + Documents appropriate management of visit utilization and authorization status as measured by a designated evaluation tool.

    + Meets regulatory requirements for supervisory visits as measured by a designated evaluation tool.

    Job Requirements

    Required

    + Completed an accredited physical Therapy degree program and be board eligible and able to obtain CA PT license within 6 months or have already obtained a CA PT License and Previous experience as a PhysicalTherapist or Physical Therapist student/ intern, upon hire

    + Physical Therapist: CA, within 6 - months and

    + Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and

    + Driver's License: CA, upon hire and

    + Auto Insurance, upon hire

    Pay Range

    $48.60 - $72.29 /hour
