    Quality Control Laboratory Technician – Woodland, CA

     

    Are you passionate about science and looking to grow your career in a dynamic laboratory environment? Join our Quality Control Seed Health Testing Team in Woodland, CA, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring the integrity and health of agricultural products.

     

    What You’ll Do

    As a member of the Sample Management and Testing Department, you’ll work in a fast-paced lab setting performing routine and specialized assays, including:

    + Bacteriology, PCR, ELISA, Mycology, and Greenhouse assays following established SOPs.

    + Preparing samples for testing and maintaining accurate records in Word, Excel, and LIMS databases.

    + Managing lab inventory, maintaining equipment, and preparing buffers, media, and reagents.

    + General lab housekeeping, including dishwashing and sterilization.

    + Supporting independent projects alongside routine testing as needed.

    What We’re Looking For

    + Education: BS in a scientific discipline with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

    + Skills: Demonstrated sterile techniques and experience with molecular biology methods.

    + Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and effective time management.

    + Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

    + Willingness to work occasional overtime or weekends to meet business needs.

    Schedule

    + Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (subject to confirmation).

    This is a Contract position based out of Woodland, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
