Job Title: Quality ManagerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to lead our Quality Management System. This role requires a proactive individual who can lead by example, promote continuous improvement, and implement risk-based thinking. You will be responsible for interpreting and implementing ISO 9001 standards, as well as coordinating and supporting audits.

Responsibilities

+ Interpret and implement ISO 9001 standards.

+ Coordinate and support surveillance and recertification audits conducted by external providers.

+ Evaluate audit findings and implement corrective actions.

+ Facilitate Management Review meetings.

+ Maintain quality metrics dashboard and QMS board postings monthly.

+ Manage internal audit processes and analyze data for improvement.

+ Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.

+ Facilitate CAPA and OFI review meetings.

+ Ensure quality records retention and control.

+ Maintain and schedule annual calibration for measuring equipment.

+ Monitor risk management activities according to ISO 9001:2015.

+ Promote a quality culture within the organization.

Essential Skills

+ Proven experience in quality engineering, assurance, and supplier quality.

+ Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. An Associate degree with experience in metal fabrication may be substituted.

+ Five plus years of experience in managing or supervising quality assurance and quality control in a manufacturing setting.

+ Familiarity with welding, fabrication, and machining specifications.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in a custom sheet metal fabrication business is desired.

+ Knowledge of metals, raw materials, and production processes.

+ Understanding of lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies is preferred.

Work Environment

The role involves selecting quality equipment, inspection tools, and software to support the inspection team. The Quality Manager will work closely with purchasing and suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met and will be required to conduct supplier quality audits. The position also involves investigating customer complaints and developing corrective actions.

This is a Permanent position based out of Green Bay, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
