    Job Title: Construction Laborer

    ***Location:** Des Moines, Iowa

    ***Employment Type:** Full-Time

    ***Overview:** We are seeking reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to support a long-term project in Des Moines. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient job site while assisting skilled tradespeople throughout daily construction activities. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors at a construction site, utilizing hand and power tools, and performing physically demanding tasks.

    *Key Responsibilities:

    + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site by removing debris and sweeping work areas

    + Load, unload, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment as directed

    + Place, remove, and reposition concrete curing blankets to support proper concrete finishing

    + Operate basic hand tools such as hammers, shovels, brooms, and levels

    + Use basic power tools including drills, saws, grinders, and impact drivers safely

    + Assist carpenters, concrete finishers, and equipment operators with routine tasks

    + Set up and break down temporary structures, barricades, and work zones

    + Support material staging and inventory by organizing supplies and returning tools to proper locations

    + Perform additional labor duties as needed to keep the project moving efficiently

    *Essential Skills & Qualifications:

    + Construction General labor experience

    + Familiarity with construction tasks and environments

    + Proficiency with hand and power tools

    + Ability to perform concrete and framing

    *Must Have:

    + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

    + Steel-toe boots

    + Hard hat with harness and lanyard

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $29.36 - $29.36/hr.
