    Job Title: Brake Press Operator** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a Brake Press Operator Trainee for our location in Canton, OH. Join our team on the 1st shift from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. You will have the opportunity to learn to operate a CNC Brake Press Machine, specifically the Cincinnati machine brand. The position offers a competitive hourly rate.

    Responsibilities

    + Learn to operate the CNC Brake Press Machine.

    + Attach tooling to the machine bed and program machine 'stops'.

    + Review setup sheets and specifications to perform setups.

    + Read blueprints and make accurate measurements for tolerances and dimensions of finished pieces.

    + Troubleshoot minor machine errors.

    + Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long durations.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience with brake press operation.

    + Ability to read blueprints.

    + Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.

    + Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Cincinnati brand brake press is a plus.

    + Mechanically inclined with skills in blueprint reading, measuring tools, and sheet metal fabrication.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
