    Job Title: Production Machine Setup Technician** **Job Description

     

    Join one of the largest wire and steel fabricators in the United States, specializing in the manufacturing of light and heavy-duty wire mesh decking, flue spacers, dividers, gridwall/slatwall, mine mesh, and fencing. We are seeking a skilled Production Machine Setup Technician to ensure the efficient operation of our production machines.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and troubleshoot production machines to ensure optimal performance.

    + Follow and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.

    + Complete preventative maintenance tasks in a timely manner.

    + Assist with improvements to production equipment and controls to enhance productivity across the Columbus facility.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.

    + Basic computer and mathematical skills.

    + Ability to understand control wiring and logic diagrams.

    + Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending, and stooping.

    + Willingness to work overtime as needed.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Prior maintenance experience is highly beneficial.

    + Mechanical aptitude and skills in machine setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

    Work Environment

    This position operates on the 1st shift from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. Be prepared for a dynamic and physically engaging work environment that requires adherence to safety standards and occasional overtime. You will work with advanced machinery, interpreting blueprints and schematics to maintain high production standards.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
