Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented CFS Agent to join our team in El Segundo, California. As part of the logistics industry, this role involves ensuring smooth operations within a Container Freight Station environment while delivering outstanding customer service. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to Container Freight Station operations.

• Process and track customer orders with precision while maintaining accurate documentation.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient handling and delivery of cargo.

• Manage essential paperwork including bills of lading, invoices, and customs documentation in compliance with regulations.

• Schedule and oversee pick-up and delivery appointments to optimize logistics processes.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date records within company systems and databases.

• Operate multi-line phone systems to assist clients and support internal communication.

• Ensure all operations adhere to company policies and industry standards.

• Collaborate with team members to implement solutions and improve overall efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, preferably within logistics or freight forwarding.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.

• Proficiency in using Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with logistics software.

• Knowledge of Container Freight Station operations and procedures is a plus.

• Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.

• Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in documentation and operations.
