    Description

    We are looking for a dedicated File Clerk to join our team in Sterling, Virginia. This is a contract position,. The role involves maintaining organizational efficiency through accurate document management and filing.

    Responsibilities:

    • Inputting data.

    • Organize and maintain both paper and digital filing systems for easy retrieval.

    • Manage the storage and archiving of tax season documents.

    • Ensure all scanned documents meet quality standards and are properly labeled.

    • Assist in clerical duties, including sorting and preparing documents for scanning.

    • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.

    • Support the team by ensuring timely access to required files and records.

    • Troubleshoot minor issues with scanning equipment and coordinate repairs if necessary.

    • Collaborate with other staff members to streamline filing processes.

    Requirements

    • The candidate must have at least one year of experience working as a file clerk.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is needed.

    • Proficiency in using office equipment such as scanners and photocopiers is a must.

    • Familiarity with office processes and administrative procedures is necessary.

    • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for inputting data.

    • Able to lift 30 pounds is crucial.
