Description
We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our healthcare team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This contract-to-permanent position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through payroll management and HR support while contributing to our growing organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in payroll processes, compliance, and data management, with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee payroll operations, including processing payroll through Paylocity and ensuring accurate timekeeping data.
• Validate and audit payroll data, including salary adjustments, terminations, and pay changes.
• Assist with payroll forecasting and labor cost analysis to support organizational planning.
• Maintain employee records and perform regular personnel file audits to ensure compliance.
• Handle employee benefits inquiries, support enrollment processes, and assist with credentialing tasks.
• Conduct compliance audits and partner with internal teams to uphold standards and controls.
• Respond to basic HR-related questions, including payroll, benefits, and timekeeping inquiries.
• Support onboarding processes for new employees and assist with offboarding procedures.
• Collaborate with finance teams on reporting and labor forecasting activities.
• Provide assistance in managing leave of absence cases and escalating employee relations concerns as needed.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll administration or related field.
• Proficiency in Paylocity or similar HRIS payroll systems.
• Strong understanding of multi-state payroll processes and full-cycle payroll management.
• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and report generation.
• Experience managing payroll for a workforce of 101-500 employees.
• Knowledge of compliance standards and ability to conduct audits effectively.
• Background in HR, accounting, or finance is preferred.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
