Construction company looking for an experienced part-time Payroll Specialist. Flexible hours with ability to work 20+ hours weekly!
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in certified payroll
Experience working with LCP Tracker a plus
High School Diploma required.
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree is a plus.
Job Description
This role involves entering Certified Payroll reports via LCP Tracker. The ideal candidate has experience processing certified payroll and has utilized LCP Tracker or like-system. Additionally, this role may include ad-hoc duties based on reporting needs.
Responsibilities:
+ Prepare, review, and submit weekly certified payroll reports in compliance with Davis‑Bacon Act, state prevailing wage laws, and local municipal requirements
+ Ensure accurate wage rates, classifications, fringe benefits, and deductions for all covered employees
+ Maintain compliance documentation including Statements of Compliance, apprenticeship certificates, and fringe benefit backup
+ Review timecards and job cost allocations to ensure proper job coding and wage application
+ Monitor wage determinations and ensure payroll reflects current rates and classifications
+ Coordinate with Project Managers and HR to validate job classifications, work scopes, and site assignments
+ Respond to agency requests, audits, and labor compliance reviews
+ Track certified payroll submissions and maintain organized records for compliance retention requirements
+ Resolve discrepancies, corrections, and amended payroll filings as needed
+ Support union reporting, if applicable, including fringe benefit and contribution tracking

This is a Contract position based out of Anaheim, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
