Job Title: Contract Manager
Job Description
As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for negotiating and managing contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions. You will oversee bid management and approval processes, acting as a key interface between sales, technical teams, and other functions like Finance and Legal. Your role will involve developing and implementing contract policies, identifying risks, and providing creative solutions to complex issues.
Responsibilities
+ Negotiate and manage contract terms and conditions with customers, vendors, and partners.
+ Ensure compliance with internal procedures, government regulations, and industry protocols.
+ Develop and implement policies, procedures, and practices related to contract administration.
+ Assist in difficult negotiations and oversee major RFPs/RFQs.
+ Manage contract documentation from pre-award negotiations through close-out.
+ Lead the interpretation of contract terms and provide advice to senior management.
+ Oversee non-disclosure agreements and intellectual property administration.
+ Manage contract performance, modifications, and invoicing.
+ Represent Contracts in high-level meetings and drive action items to completion.
+ Manage other Contracts Administrators and Government Property employees.
+ Apply for and track export permits and prepare compliance reports.
Essential Skills
+ 8+ years of experience in DFAR/FAR contract administration/management.
+ Leadership skills to effectively present to executives and contracting officers.
+ Experience in change management.
+ Strong administrative and organizational skills.
+ Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree with at least five years of U.S. Government contract administration experience.
+ Advanced degree with two years of U.S. Government contract administration experience is acceptable.
+ CFCM certification can substitute for one year of experience.
+ Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.
Work Environment
The position offers a remote work environment, with occasional visits to the client site in Chantilly, VA as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chantilly, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $67.30/hr.
