Summary You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the COMBAT SYSTEMS DIVISION, ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will be responsible for C290 administration portions of the Work and Test Manual (WTM), Combat Systems Operational Preparation (CSOP), Tactical Action Officer (TAO) Scoping, and Technical Documents. You will be the chairperson/ causal analyst for Trouble Reports, Problem Resolution Reports and Team Learning Sessions. You will be the Lead Administrator for all C290 TADs and TCDs. You will be the Defense Property Accountability System and Camera Pass Custodian for all assets in C290. You are C290s Shipyard Commitment System point of contact. You will gather, codify, format, and submit the Division’s Self-Assessment semiannually. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-12 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience performing duties of chairperson for Trouble Reports, Problem Resolution Reports and Team Learning Sessions. Experience managing a combat system test program, specifically Test Administrative and resolving Certification Deficiencies on one or more new overhaul submarines. Experience utilizing exceptional written and verbal communication skills to deliver clear and impactful messages, with hands-on experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe products to achieve professional goals. Experience documenting and professional formatting of divisional assessment outcomes. Experience ensuring all technical documentation was current, accurate, and compliant with relevant standards and organizational guidelines.
