Job Description
An employer is seeking a contract to hire IT Specialist for a hybrid role in London (4 days onsite, 1 from home). This person plays a critical role in preparing, configuring, and deploying systems that meet modern enterprise standards and will be setting up around 80-90 devices for the first project. This includes installing applications and providing on-site and remote support for Windows 11 upgrade issues. In addition they will customize user profiles and settings, install required software packages and productivity tools, and provide documentation or support for end-user onboarding. After that, they will provide L1/L1.5 support for any issues that come in via ticketing system, email, call, or shoulder taps. The IT Specialist is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving an organization’s computer systems, networks, and software. They c to end users. IT Specialists help keep technology running smoothly and securely so the business can operate efficiently.

Skills and Requirements
3+ years of experience in desktop support or help desk roles
Proficiency in Windows OS environments (Windows 10/11)
Experience with imaging tools and deployment platforms
Experience with maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving an organization’s computer systems, networks, and software.
Ticketing system experience A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) certification
