Job Description

One of Insight Global's clients is looking to hire for a temporary Operating Engineer to support a commercial building in Northwest Washington DC. This individual will be working the 10AM - 6PM shift, Monday - Friday with possible overtime. The building itself is 265,000 square feet, 12 floors and has an underground parking garage. There are chillers, VAVs and building automation systems onsite so this individual needs to be able to work on those without too much supervision.

This is a minimum 2 month assignment with possible extensions.

Skills and Requirements

- 3+ years of commercial facilities experience; ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair commercial HVAC/plumbing/electrical systems

- Universal CFC

- Ability to reliably commute to DC

- Strong communication skills; will be interfacing with tenants on a daily basis

- Tech savvy; will be dealing with digital work orders and building automation systems
