Summary
The Network Engineer I’s role is to ensure the stability and integrity of Dickinson’s Network, Security, voice, video, and wireless network services. This individual will be responsible for implementing and second level troubleshooting of the network infrastructure within the data centers and branch networks. We are looking for a team member with an understanding of Cisco switching and routing, knowledge of networking concepts and a desire to learn and become a vital part of the team. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting Branch offices, ATM’s, configuration of equipment based on current standards. In addition to Cisco switching and routing, the Engineer I will also support adjunct platforms for wireless systems, security systems (Palo Alto/ASA/Cisco ISE) and Cisco Voice and collaboration systems that would be used within a corporate environment.
Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot and configure LANs, WANS, wireless networks, voice systems and Security systems to support DFC users.
+ Configure equipment based on current standards and templates to ensure their smooth, and reliable operation while fulfilling business objectives, and processes.
+ Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.
+ Update and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
+ Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory, and related documentation.
+ Protect all client and bank information confidentially and follow all company policies.
+ Understand, communicate, and instill the Company’s mission, vision, and values (Pillars of Success).
+ Complete monthly training in a timely manner to ensure knowledge of bank regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
+ Working at the worksite during regular business hours and/or assigned hours.
+ Other specified duties as assigned.
Compensation & Benefits
The Network Engineer I position pays a minimum of $ _70,000_ .

Skills
+ Ability to work effectively with personnel on all levels.
+ 1+ years of network IP routing protocols (IGRP, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, OSPF)
+ 1+ years’ experience with Cisco products, IOS/X-IOS, Catalysts, 9K, ASA, Meraki,
+ Implement/troubleshoot of Cisco network products.
Education & Experience
+ College degree in computer technology, or networking, or two years of experience in the computer, and networking fields.
+ Relevant technical knowledge in related areas (platform specific or network operations).
+ Experience with configuring and supporting network equipment (routers, switches,)
+ Experience troubleshooting circuits.
+ Experience implementing/troubleshooting small branch offices.
Physical Requirements (section to be completed by HR)
The work environment is typical of a standard office or retail banking setting. The position is sedentary, involving sitting most of the workday; however, the position will involve moving about the workspace to reach entrances/exits, restrooms, conference rooms, or other areas within the work environment. Reaching may be required involving the ability to move arms in any direction. Office equipment, such as a computer and telephone, will be used requiring the ability to manipulate a keyboard, mouse, and/or keypad. The ability to decipher a computer screen or written documents is necessary. The ability to express or exchange ideas; impart information to clients, coworkers, or the public; or to convey detailed or important instructions; is required. The ability to receive and understand detailed information shared through oral or written communication is required. Position requires lifting and/or the exerting of up to 50 pounds of force.
