Job Summary
Primary responsibilities include aiding in biological field sampling on small and large vessels, laboratory analysis of biological specimens, data recording/entry/checking, and maintenance of field gear. Aiding in specialized assigned projects (i.e. acoustic telemetry, trophic analysis, age and growth, reproductive analysis, molecular analyses, administrative duties).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
+ Aiding in the collection of field samples, as needed, in support of assigned scientific research studies in a safe manner ensuring that all protocols are followed.
+ Aiding in the processing and laboratory analysis of biological samples. Accurately records, enters, and checks data.
+ Aiding in the maintenance and care of sampling gear.
+ Aiding in specialized projects as assigned (i.e. acoustic telemetry, trophic analysis, age and growth, reproductive analysis, molecular analyses, administrative duties).
+ Participates in outreach events and presents at public and/or professional forums
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
