The Boeing Company is currently seeking a **Teardown Engineer** to support our **Product Analysis & Teardown Lab** located in **Berkeley, MO** . This position will focus on supporting the Enterprise Technology Office of the Boeing Technology Innovation business organization.

Position Responsibilities

+ Lead/participate in physical part teardown, analysis, and cost modeling

+ Engage with leaders, stakeholders, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and execute on teardown campaigns and associated projects

+ Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions

+ Evaluates customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces

+ Performs various analyses to optimize systems and/or system architecture

+ Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialty quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience)

+ Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

+ Experience with optimal cost and how it enables programs to meet their affordability goals

+ Work schedule flexibility to support international team members

+ Experience working with McKinsey Cleansheet cost modeling software

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

+ Experience in one or more of the following areas: structures, systems, interiors, manufacturing, avionics

+ Cross functional experience working with global partners

+ Experience with systems engineering; understanding the cost & design trades and current Boeing efforts in design practices, model-based engineering, and the digital thread

+ Demonstrated ability to plan, lead and oversee multiple projects and meet associated deliverable deadlines within assigned budget

Summary Pay Range: $91,800 - $124,200
