As a Financial Analyst I, you will prepare, analyze, and report key financial and revenue cycle management (RCM) information, creating both standard and ad hoc reports to support the needs of the enterprise. In this role, you will prepare analyses and reports on patient-level data and key volume indicators for executive leadership, including work with actual patient data, budgeted data, and forecasting. This position contributes to a healthcare system that prioritizes patient well-being, medical innovation, and continuous learning by performing analytical work, including preparing reports, analyzing trends, and supporting financial decision-making, to ensure resources are used effectively and the highest quality patient care is delivered.
This role provides early-career analysts with the opportunity to grow technically while supporting a world-class healthcare mission. Analysts will gain hands-on experience working with real financial data, models, and BI tools to develop technical expertise, receive regular guidance from other analysts and leaders to support learning and career growth, and collaborate with clinical, operational, and financial teams to gain a broad understanding of healthcare finance.
A caregiver in this role works a hybrid schedule from 8:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
_To be considered for this position, the caregiver must reside in NE Ohio and be available for occasional Townhalls /or meetings at Main Campus or West Creek in Independence._
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Prepare, analyze and communicate key financial information and provide support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and other related issues.
+ Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes and budget review for compliance and opportunities.
+ Serve as consultant to all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
+ Complete special projects and duties including providing necessary research, forecasting and conflict resolution.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field
+ **OR** Associate's Degree **and** two years of experience
+ **OR** High School Diploma/GED **and** four years of experience
+ Ability to complete basic analytical, consultative and information support through analysis and report preparation.
+ Knowledge of key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis and proposal development
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ One year of Accounting, Finance, Healthcare, Investment Banking or Management Consulting experience
+ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Account (CMA) certification
+ Knowledge using Tableau and Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts)
+ Knowledge with tools like Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python for data analysis
+ Snowflake experience
+ Ability to analyze large data sets and identify trends
+ Ability to review numerical information meticulously to ensure accuracy
Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
+ Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
+ Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.
+ In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
+ In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.

+ Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
Pay Range
Minimum Annual Salary: $43,200.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $65,880.00
